Material Handler Team Lead

BizLink elocab Ltd (“BizLink Canada”), is located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and provides custom designed cable solutions for the Industrial and Healthcare markets.

Due to ongoing growth we are currently looking for a Material Handler Team Lead to join our Kitchener, Ontario team.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced in warehouse management systems.
• Train team in the warehouse management system
• Accountable for the storage of raw materials and inventory accuracy for materials in warehouse
• Assisting in setting up procedures for the warehouse storage layout
• Coordination of cycle count programs to assist with inventory accuracy
• Knowledge and experience in material kitting and picking
• Experienced in lot tracking and release materials using FIFO Principles
• Reporting of daily and monthly KPIs
• Ensuring the team are following the standards and procedures
• Continuous improvement, 5S, and knowledge of lean principles.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment
• Team Lead experience an asset
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull products as required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic and positive team player
• Able to bend and lift weight of up to 23kg (50lbs)
• Able to stand for extended period of time
• Able to multi-task

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
