Requirements
-Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an environmental interest
-Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
-Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a willingness to work outdoors and able to operate vehicles at our operations, in various weather conditions and terrain
-Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels and partners
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
Responsibilities
Working within the Environmental Department at Fording River Operations, the successful candidate will support the Environmental group with the following:

-Participate in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy every day.
-Document management project - working with an advisory team the coop will lead this project and develop and implement our document management system. This will include, but not be limited to:
style="list-style-type:circle"-
-organizing shared network drive
-migrating of files from shared network drive to SharePoint
-developing SharePoint site architecture
-educating the team on Office 365
-SharePoint and Teams
-creating document management guidance documents and standards
-Other admin tasks will include but not be limited to:
style="list-style-type:circle"-
-incident tracking and compliance database improvements
-updating SP&Ps
-assisting with reporting; and
-general admin tasks.
-Opportunity for a field support component with the Environmental teams
-Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
All students will be required to complete pre-employment drug testing prior to commencing work. Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.
