Overview
Responsibilities
- Prepare meat products including special orders as required
- Provide customer service
- Keep your meat department area clean, well-stocked and organized
- Handle and present products in a way that highlights and safeguards their quality
- Comply with company meat standards and food safety regulations
- Know the various cuts, benefits and ways to serve meats in your store
- Look for creative ways to merchandise your products to your customers
- Support store merchandising programs
- Contribute to a safe, positive and fun environment
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- Previous work experience in meat cutting not required, but is considered an asset. In-store training is available.
- Ability to work independent in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment
- Excited about the products we offer and how to present them to customers
- Enjoys helping customers and teammates
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
