The Meat Clerk/Cutter is responsible for carrying out a variety of duties in a professional, safe, accurate and timely manner. Exceptional customer service is expected, as is working respectfully in a team environment. Successful candidate must be able to work every second weekend.
Job Description
- Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, OH&S procedures, store policies, all other programs and initiatives.
- Assist and answer customer questions and concerns, providing them with a positive shopping experience.
- Keeping work area clean and presentable.
- Handle, organize and rotate product in accordance with store policy.
- Cut, tray, package and price meat/seafood items.
- Put away freight in cooler (up to 50 pound boxes)
- Other duties as required.

- Ability to work quickly and independently.
- Being open to change and new ideas.
- Available for a variety of shifts including weekends and some evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for entire shift.
- Flexibility to perform different tasks.
- Friendly, polite demeanour.
- Ability to take responsibility for your assigned tasks.
Previous professional meat cutting experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.

Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
