We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined 1 Million Tonnes of Product and employ over 1000 employees.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Technician or Journeyperson
- 3-5 years related industry experience
- Personal drive
- Initiative to learn and be involved
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, inspect, repair, troubleshoot, advise and maintain mechanical systems
- Interface with production personnel and technical staff within maintenance and suppliers
- Responsible for the development, enhancement and execution of standard reliability practices for the plant physical assets to insure long term reliability and availability
- Promote and participate in maintaining high standard around safety and housekeeping
- Participate in mill initiatives that help achieve our business goals
- Take ownership of the process and its associated equipment
- Required to take on-call rotations throughout the year as needed
