The Medical Call Center Agent plays a pivotal role at CDC and as our Call Center booking agent, you will represent the company with your positive, welcoming, and helpful nature. A typical day requires you to be on the telephone interacting with our patients and your teammates. What you will do:
- Schedule appointments for patients at our clinics in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and physician information using our software.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they can provide accurate information for appointments.
- Process high volume of calls while maintaining patience and empathy.
- Support team members as we deliver great customer service.
- Support Booking Team Leads by identifying new ideas and improve processes.
- Call center experience or medical terminology required.
- Superior communication skills and organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a high-volume work environment.
- Strong proficiency with computer software and databases.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging an asset (but not required).
- Second language is an asset (but not required).
