Responsibilities: As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the imaging department, ensuring the accurate and safe execution of various imaging procedures. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing patients for imaging procedures.
Positioning patients and ensuring readiness for scans.
Monitoring patient conditions during exams to prioritize safety.
Calibrating equipment for clear images of targeted areas.
Operating and maintaining imaging equipment.
Performing radiographic protocols, including general radiology, mammography, angiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI scans.
Educating patients on procedures and addressing any concerns.
Conducting quality assurance testing on equipment.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:
Relevant qualification as a Medical Radiation Technologist.
Experience in general radiology, mammography, angiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI scans.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
