Member Relations / Marketing & Communications

• Part-time

MEMBER RELATIONS

• Actively seek and identify new businesses to approach about benefits of membership
• Maintain the membership prospect database and related membership statistics
• Answer incoming calls or drop-ins. Communicate membership benefits, answer questions, and make sales presentations.
• Assist members with questions about membership, renewals and benefits.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing members, reinforcing the value of Chamber membership to the company, and their employees.
• Responsible for collection of yearly membership renewals

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

• Prepare Chamber communications such as printed newsletters, electronic communications, and website
• Maintain the social media strategy and manage chamber social media accounts to ensure a consistent presence
• Assist with aspects of marketing for projects as required

As a member of our small office, there is an overall understanding at the Chamber that everyone works together as a team and as such, you will also be called upon to assist others that are absent, out of the office, or facing a busy time.
