Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Merchandising and Content Specialist for a permanent position.
The Merchandising and Content Specialist will manage the content and optimization of our ecommerce website.

Your day-to-day:

  • Set up of new skus and maintenance of existing skus data and images (for both products and recipes)
  • Setup and test all promotions
  • Tracking of stock for upcoming promotional activity
  • Review the site daily with a customer-first mindset, ensuring integrity, consistency, and accuracy
  • Approve and monitor reviews, questions and UGC to post on product pages
  • Curate pages based on seasonal content/activity and for email links
  • Determine optimal page sorting for sell-through
  • Monitor and report on success of campaigns and pages
  • Monitor and optimize search results onsite
  • Provide insights on areas of the online experience to be improved to drive more sales
  • Create and maintain a seasonal content calendar four times a year
  • Develop all blog content including evergreen content, seasonal content and guides (including briefs, mockups and copy development)
  • Apply SEO principles to content creation and report on its success
  • Plan and update homepages bi-weekly
  • Create other pieces of onsite content like
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications teams, providing appropriate landing pages and links, and leveraging content to support activity calendar, social media and stores
  • Asset Management – uploading local assets to the global catalogue

Your assets:

  • Degree or certification in marketing, communications, or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Bilingual (fluent in both English and French is mandatory)
  • Content writing skills
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization/natural referencing principles (SEO)
  • Proficient with ecommerce tools (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, an asset)
  • Basic HTML knowledge an asset
