Microsoft Licensing Specialist
The Licensing Specialist (LS) plays an important role in Compugen's sales model. The Licensing Specialist (LS) is part of a team of sales resources that are put in place to provide our customers with the best possible service in their day to day dealings with Compugen. Licensing Specialists have day to day involvement with our customers, mainly related to their Microsoft software requirements. Licensing Specialists are subject matter experts, consultants and negotiators supporting both our customers & the various resources within Compugen. A Licensing Specialists needs to have a good understanding of Microsoft software products, the various licensing programs & licensing requirements for each qualified opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Primarily focused on Microsoft Volume Licensing opportunities
  • Managing the day to day relationship within the existing customer base and new business
  • Assisting and supporting team members & customers on complex licensing sales opportunities, including Net New, Upgrade, and Renewal opportunities
  • Addressing Volume Licensing inquiries
  • Troubleshooting issues related to provisioning & activation of licenses
  • Analyze, create, and supply licensing quotes/proposals to customers for qualified opportunities in a timely and effective manner
  • Manage deliverables & reports for upcoming customer quarterly meetings, license reservations, renewals and true-ups
  • Determining profitability on opportunities
  • Keep up to date with current publisher programs, offerings and certifications
  • All other necessary activities to ensure the continual growth of the software business practice

Skills and qualifications, you’ll bring:
  • 3-5 years experience with Microsoft Licensing programs
  • Post secondary education
  • A deep understanding of Microsoft products & services
  • Must have Microsoft MCP licensing certifications
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Ability to service customer accounts with quality, timeliness & professionalism
  • Experience solving complex customer problems & recommend solutions
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work and facilitate in a team environment
  • Ability to conduct research and exercise good business judgment
