The Opportunity: The Middle Year’s Worker is responsible for implementing and planning programs and services for youth. The worker is also responsible for referring families to the appropriate services throughout the community, working with families, and professionals in the community to ensure children 6-12 years of age are fully supported. The main responsibilities are as follows:

• Directly assist communities to increase their capacity to identify, and address child and youth development.
• Collaborate with individuals and communities to identify and provide programs and delivery methods that are acceptable to them and responsive to their needs.
• Establish/maintain quality community awareness and support and referral systems for the programs

What You Will Bring to The Role:

• Social Work Certificate, Diploma, or the equivalent
• Child and Youth Care Certificate/Diploma
• Must possess a valid class five driver’s license
