Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Fox Creek Station is recruiting for a Millwright Apprentice to join the team for a 12- month term.  The Position reports to the Fox Station, Day Foreman, in the Conventional Pipelines Business Unit (CBU), part of Pembina’s Operations Division Business. 
Pembina's conventional pipeline assets comprise a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports crude oil, condensate and NGL across much of Alberta and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and North Dakota. 
 
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
-Support Pembina’s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the “Life Saving Rules.” To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina/safety;
-Complete corrective and preventative maintenance on rotating equipment in accordance with Pembina’s preventable maintenance management program;
-Assist operations in facility optimization and troubleshooting;
-Provide technical support on new projects and Management of Change (MOC);
-Assist with installation, commissioning, start up, and maintenance of new equipment;
-Assist in completing rotating equipment overhauls;
-Support Pembina’s culture of community investment;
-Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace; and
-Work Shift: 4 days/10 hours
Qualifications:
-Must be registered in an Apprentice Millwright program;
-Working knowledge of MS Office applications;
-Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication;
-Working knowledge and experience with SAP would be an asset;
-Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; 
-The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, display a goal-oriented attitude, and be eager to contribute to a strong maintenance and operations team;
-Safety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid would be an asset, but if incomplete, will be provided by company to the successful candidate; and
-Able to work through the entire 12-month term. 
 
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.  You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract. 
The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Fox Creek, preference to those living in Fox Creek. 
 
 
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
