Be motivated to take on new responsibilities and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Participate in departmental meetings.
Write reports on breakdowns for follow-up on equipment listings.
Participate in development of CI projects for press, injection systems and paintline equipment from design to implementation.
Maintain presses,assembly equipment, injection units and paintline equipment.
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Assist in the development of repair, set-up and troubleshooting procedures.
Update press, injection unit and paintline equipment documentation as required.
Responsible for proper handling, storage and disposal of all chemicals, used materials and equipment.
Maintain 5S standards.
EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum grade 12 education and 1 year college course.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic fundamentals and principles.
- Knowledge of PLC Programming, if required.
- Basic understanding of the computer.
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical circuits, if needed.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control.
- Must have ability to work well under pressure.
- Must have proven ability that above noted knowledge can be applied on a practical level
