Mixing Operator III

To ensure full compliance with food specifications of finished products meet customer quality expectations, processing controls and food safety practices.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for start-up, review-mixing schedule
• Ensure pre-op inspection is done on the mixer prior to starting
• Follow mixing procedures according to the formula sheet
• Ensure all documentation is complete
• Ensure all variances to the formula are reported to the Supervisor
• Ensure to put all ingredients in the mixer following the formula
• Check and document every dough temperature, time and initial
• Monitor bulk scaling system for accuracy during the shift
• Work closely with Machine operator and Leadhand
• Inform Leadhand of any quality issues immediately
• Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality
• Perform all other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must work with speed and accuracy to keep up with the production process
• GMP and safety awareness
