SalaryTalentworks is seeking reliable, hard-working, self-motivated labourers for our client’s reputable business as a Mobile Tire Technician.
This opportunity would be ideal for someone who is interested in working shift work and is able to work independently.
This is an exciting launch of our client’s new Scheduled Automotive Service in the HRM. This will allow members to purchase their tire online and have them delivered and installed on the spot. Members will be able to book the Tire and Oil Change Labourer for seasonal tire changes, wiper replacements and more. This role will eventually be able to book for Oil Changes, windshield chips and more!

- Sell and install tires (Primary Role)
- Safeguard, properly account for, turn in receipts, and reconcile the tire inventory before and after each shift
- Battery testing/replacement/boosts (if workload requires)
- Perform maintenance on vehicle and report any mechanical problems
- Driving the van to each appointment
- Keep inventory filled up in the van (shop)
- Keep van tidy and clean
- Mounting and installing new tires
- Balancing and rotating
- Flat repairs
- Draining/filling oil
- Checking filters and replacement as required
- General Inspection
- Maintain good customer services with customers, service personal and co workers
- General housekeeping of the van (shop)
- Safety compliance
- Shop inventory and supply replenishment as required
- Other duties as required
- Previous experience with Tire and Oil changes REQUIRED
- Valid drivers license REQUIRED
- Clean Driver’s Abstract REQUIRED
- CSA Approved Steel toes REQUIRED
- Ability to multi task
- Detail oriented, responsible, and respectful
- Ability to stand and bend for long periods
- Physically capable to lift and move up to 50+lbs
