Museum Host

The Sam Waller Museum is seeking a responsible individual to host visitors and carry out miscellaneous operational duties on a casual basis for the upcoming winter/spring season. Duties include:

Act as host/tour guide for visitors wishing to view exhibits at The Sam Waller Museum;

Accept admission fees, membership fees, and store purchases and issue receipts for same;

Forward cash/cheques along with receipts to the Museum Director;

Perform light maintenance duties (keep windows clean, dusting, sweeping, shoveling snow, change light bulbs);

Ensure building is secure, all exterior doors to be locked and intrusion alarm to be armed each day upon closing;

Report any concerns regarding any/all of the above to the Museum Director.

Other duties as assigned by the Museum Director that pertain to the operation of the Museum.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 4.5 – 9 per week
