Naturalist/Deckhand

Responsibilities:
Responsible for passenger safety and comfort.
Managing passenger groups with excellent customer service.
Narrating and educating passengers about local marine wildlife and surrounding Bay of Fundy. Public speaking including safety orientation of vessel. Cleaning and preparation of boat before and after each tour.
Safely and effectively perform deckhand duties including tying lines on vessel. Possibility to develope wildlife and Bay of Fundy photography skills.

Experience:
Previous experience as a deckhand or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills to interact with passengers in a professional and friendly manner.

Requirement: Degree in marine biology an asset. Completion of DVS training course prior to start date. Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Available to start in June and finish season in October.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Salary: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
