RAE Engineering and Inspection Ltd. is looking for someone to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. Working under the Branch Manager, this person will be willing to wear many different hats, while gaining knowledge and experience in the NDE field.
We are looking for someone who may not have NDE experience but is willing to work hard and help the Branch Manager in any way necessary, while working towards an exciting career in the NDE field.
As this is a small branch office, some responsibilities may include:
General duties:
o Fueling and washing vehicles
o Picking up supplies from various suppliers
o Entering data/reports into the computer
o Answering client phone calls
NDE duties:
o Assisting the NDE Technician by setting up and/or calibrating non-destructive testing equipment
o Assisting the NDE Technician in performing any NDE procedures and other operations
o Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor
o Assist with settlement surveys, as required
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Must live in Grande Prairie area
- Willingness to travel
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Personal qualities of integrity, quality, safety, and concern for fellow employees
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $25-30 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, up to 15 hours
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Education:
- Secondary School (required)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- H2S Alive (preferred)
