New Patient Intake Coordinator

Pacific Fertility is looking for a Full-Time, New Patient Intake Coordinator to support our patients in their fertility journey. This position is based at our PCRM Burnaby location.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process patient referrals for multiple clinics and enters them into the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation, including demographics, healthcare information and charting of interactions.
• Review details and expectations to patients regarding their appointment and provides the appropriate testing requisitions as per protocol.
• Provide appropriate non-medical, clinic information to patients and offers them appointment(s) accordingly.
• Answer telephone calls promptly; triages calls and answers inquiries, relays messages; refers callers to appropriate person or area.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Plan and direct daily tasks to maximize efficiency and achieve booking timeline goals.
• Be familiar with the procedures of other areas such as reception, IUI desk, IVF desk, procedure room, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Call center or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in a women’s health or reproductive environment is an asset.
• Strong administrative/computer skills
• Strong communication skills
