Newspaper Reporter / Multimedia Journalist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on assigned topics and gather relevant information
- Write and edit news articles, features and other journalistic content
- Conduct interviews with sources to gather information and quotes
- Fact-check information and ensure accuracy of content
- Collaborate with other team members to develop story ideas and angles
- Stay up-to-date with local current events
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in journalism

Qualifications:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work
- Familiarity with CP Style
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
