Night Shift Cashier/Sales Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for full-time and part-time Morning, evening and Nightshift staff to work in a fast-paced friendly environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides prompt, efficient and courteous customer service customers and offers promotional products.
• Perform the sales transaction on POS and apply the appropriate discount to the transaction.
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets or tobacco products.
• Keep track of the inventory delivered to the station and authorize returns of merchandise.
• Ensures merchandise is properly rotated, faced, correctly priced and clean
• Responsible for organizing the store, creating display counters and stocking shelves.
• Complies with all safety procedures as per company policies to ensure everyone’s safety.
• Keep a record for all maintenance issues in the shift and document/report them on time.
• Presents a professional image to the customers per Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines (i.e., clean appearance, approved uniform, name badge)
• Adheres to Food Safe and sanitization requirements.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Expected start date: ASAP

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mill Bay, BC V0R 2P2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail Associates & Cashiers: 1 year (preferred)
• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
