Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters and Labourers to join our crew. As a Carpenter, you will utilize your expertise to craft and assemble structures, furniture, and fixtures according to specifications. Your attention to detail and proficiency in woodworking techniques will be essential in bringing our projects to life. Labourers play a crucial role in supporting our carpenters and overall construction operations. Your dedication and hard work will contribute to the smooth execution of projects and the realization of our clients' visions.

Key Responsibilities:

Carpenter:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials (wood, metal, etc.) to construct structures and items.
  • Install windows, doors, cabinets, and other fixtures with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide input on design and construction solutions to optimize project outcomes.

Labourer

  • Assist carpenters and other team members in various construction tasks.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
  • Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Operate machinery and tools as directed by supervisors.
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Carpenter:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in woodworking tools and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and methods.
  • Excellent measurement and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Labourer:

  • Previous experience in a construction or labour-intensive role is an asset.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
