We are looking to hire an Office Administrator / Shop Assistant at Simon's Seamless Eavestrough LTD. Hours are flexible and dependent on candidate. Daily Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

-Make numerous daily communications to update and maintain accounting records This includes contacting clients to receive payments and picking up cheques when needed in a way that is cost effective to the company.
-Carrying out clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes, and presentations.
-Have knowledge of the construction trade
-Coordinating and managing appointments, meetings etc.
-Organizing, handling materials, ability to do minor lifting
-Performing bookkeeping tasks such as: -Invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
-Maintaining general office files, including job files, vendor files, and other files related to the company's operations.
-Purchasing office supplies, equipment, and furniture.
-Post and update ads for roofing, siding and other services we provide.
-Using Quickbooks online.
-Clean, organize office, shop and bathrooms
-Creating toolbox meeting agendas. -Health and safety policies updated (Covid) and ensure employees are following protocols.
-Price Comparisons for various suppliers.
-Schedule jobs, estimates and advising customers of work and estimating times.
-Source out materials when needed.
-Closing the office and ensuring everything is locked.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
