About the role
The Officer People, Culture and Accommodation role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide a proactive organized and efficient administration service to the People and Culture department and coordinate the provision of housing and camp related services for Red Lake employees and the People and Culture Department.
The position will be on a 5/4 (9.5 – hour day) roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario with NO FIFO eligibility. We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth.
Key result areas in this role include:
Provide administrative support to the People and Culture team
General administrative duties including management of department stationary, travel bookings, visitor coordination, and uniform orders
Maintenance of organised electronic and paper filing system
Maintenance of property management software, keys, housing expenditures, and all records of company owned housing
Coordinate the provision of cost-effective maintenance services (buildings, cleaning, gardening, annual servicing, etc) for company owned housing assets and leased properties
Receipting and payment of service invoices
Maintenance of detailed inspection records for company-owned housing assets
Coordinate the set-up and ongoing maintenance of shared housing assets (furniture, appliances, kitchenware, linen, etc.)
Identification and inspection of housing opportunities in Red Lake and surrounding areas
Conduct town tours and housing inspections during pre-employment site visits
Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values
About you
As the Officer People, Culture and Accommodation, you will have a Secondary School Diploma. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:
A Valid G Driver’s License & access to a reliable vehicle
Qualifications in Human Resources is highly desirable
Administration experience
Experience in accounts payable or general accounting is an asset
Knowledge of local community and businesses is an asset
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Pronto or similar ERP systems
