On-Call Event Server

The Bench is a delightful family-friendly casual dining experience situated within Cardel Rec South on the second floor, conveniently nestled between Arena 3 and 4. With its contemporary design, The Bench presents a diverse array of food and beverage options, perfectly suited for pre or post-lessons, games, or practices.

We are looking for Event Servers to join the Food & Beverage Team.

We are seeking positive and energetic individuals who enjoy interacting with our guests, prides themselves on providing excellent service, and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate service and deliver efficient, accurate service to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Strive to exceed service standards by working as a team
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of all menu offerings
• Confidently answer question about menu offerings; offer recommendations and suggest add-ons
• Assist co-workers as necessary in order to provide the best possible guest experience
• Ensure all opening, closing, and shift changeover duties are completed daily
• Generate accurate bills using Point-of-Sale system
• Maintain a clean work environment in all food & beverage areas
• Complete additional duties to ensure the next shift is setup for success

Requirements:

• Must have Pro-serve certification, or be willing to obtain prior to start date
• Available for Day Shifts
• Experience in a serving/bartending role at a full-service restaurant/lounge
• Outgoing personality
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with guests
