Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Vice President - Optimization and Automation, the Operations Planner/Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of project implementation according to the scheduled timeline. He/She works closely with operations and intervenes with teams in prioritizing planning. This position primarily requires on-site presence at our Blainville offices with the possibility of flexible hours.
Specifically, the Operations Planner/Coordinator will:
- Determine the necessary resources (materials, labor, equipment, etc.) to meet forecasted demand.
- Optimize resource assignments to minimize costs and delays.
- Develop production schedules, work schedules, and procurement plans to ensure efficient production aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor activities with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution of production processes.
- Document and interpret the application of procedures and policies.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Facilitate weekly project review meetings.
- Communicate priorities and issues to all collaborators.
- Develop, complete, and finalize all project-related documents within deadlines.
- Perform any other related tasks.
