Additional position information:
- This is a unionized position;
- 40-hour/week schedule, from Sunday to Saturday;
- Day, evening, and night shifts, rotating every 2 weeks;
- Evening premium at $10.25/hour;
- Night premium at $20.50/hour;
- Weekend premium at $103.73/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the loading and unloading operations of containers from trains, ships, and trucks at our two terminals;
- Maintain and/or increase productivity goals by efficiently using our human and material resources as well as our warehousing environment;
- Apply the company's safety regulations and work practices so that our employees work in a safe environment;
- Propose qualitative and productivity improvement areas;
- Make recommendations to improve customer service.
