Optician / Student Optician

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our exceptional eye care team. We are a busy eye care clinic that provides comprehensive optometric care to people living in Owen Sound and the surrounding area. We also have a full service dispensary and edging lab on site.

The successful candidate will be able to:

- assist patients in finding the perfect eyeglass frame and recommend appropriate lens products for them

- fit, dispense and repair eyeglasses

- contact lens instruction

- operate lens edger (onsite training will be provided)

- manage inventory of frames and contact lenses

- meet with frame and lens reps to help select product

- assist other staff members with daily office tasks where needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
