Job Scope:

To selects products and prepare items for shipping, utilizing requisitions and order sheets, place and arrange items in a box or container following specific instructions, arrange boxes or containers on pallets, check for any damage to items and confirm correct items and quantities are selected.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work independently to pick, pack and ship orders
• Report to Warehouse Management Team
• Receive, check-in and put away stock quickly and accurately
• Replenish picking locations and unload trailers
• Reading Order Sheets and Pick List correctly
• Utilizes our internal system to identify rack location of products
• Produces order labels and ensures that all pallets and boxes are correctly labeled
• Will take photos of packed goods, for documentation purposes
• Maintain good housekeeping duties of the warehouse, throughout the day and at the end of the shift
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform all other assigned duties by the Warehouse Supervisor

Professional & Educational Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills & Ability:

• Experience in the freight industry is an asset
• Experience with RF Scanner is an asset
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a good command of English in reading and comprehending written and verbal instructions
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
