Order Picker

```Job Overview```

We are currently seeking an Order Picker to join our team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and preparing customer orders for shipment. We are picking ice cream orders in a freezer, proper insulated clothing is provided as well as warm up breaks if/when needed. Note the entire 8 hour shift is balanced between freezer picking and light warehouse upkeep in a regular temperature environment.

```Responsibilities```

- Utilize a warehouse management system to locate and pick customer orders

- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes to move and transport materials

- Load and unload products from trucks or containers

- Verify the accuracy of picked orders and ensure they are properly packaged for shipment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

```Requirements```

- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or order picking preferred

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day

- Proficient in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment

- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking

- Excellent time management skills to meet productivity targets

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
