This role consists of
- Assembles, issues and ships goods from incoming requisition requests, packaging in bubble envelopes or other appropriate shipping supplies in accordance with established procedures.
- Performing a variety of duties such as completing requisitions/orders, shipping and receiving, unpacking, organizing, and distributing office supplies and small goods.
- Receives, unpacks, and checks incoming materials from suppliers; ensures that supplies are delivered as per ordered; and completes related paperwork. Sorts and places articles in appropriate areas; keeps shelves/areas clean, tidy, and organized.
- Participates in continuous quality improvement activities by performing duties such as providing input/feedback on work procedures and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualification and Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work.
- Organized and can handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows is an asset.
