Outdoor Center Director

JUMP! Canada is looking for a dynamic and passionate Summer Programs Director to oversee transformational outdoor programs for youth at our wilderness site near 100 Mile House, BC. (jumpcanada.org)

The Summer Programs Director at JUMP! Foundation will play a pivotal role in providing visionary leadership, cultivating impactful partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of our transformative programs. As a key member of our team, you will spearhead Partnership Support & Partnership Strategy in Canada, manage partnership budgets and approvals, and provide oversight of the program management process. Your visionary leadership will contribute to the growth and success of our summer programs, ensuring they align seamlessly with our organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities:

Leadership, Management, Accountability

• Provide visionary leadership to the Summer Programs team, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
• Oversee the management and accountability structures within the team, fostering a culture of transparency, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Partnership Support & Partnership Strategy Canada

• Cultivate and maintain partnerships for the Summer Programs, particularly focusing on partnerships in Canada.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to enhance the impact and reach of JUMP! Foundation's Summer Programs.

Partnership Budget and Approvals:

• Take ownership of the budgetary aspects related to Summer Program partnerships, ensuring alignment with financial goals and organizational priorities.
• Lead the approvals process for partnerships, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.

Oversight of Program Management Process:

• Provide strategic oversight of the end-to-end program management process for Summer Programs, ensuring effective planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program delivery and participant experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience in program design and logistics, ideally within experiential education settings.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong technical expertise in program logistics, design, and curriculum development.
• Proven ability in strategic planning, budget management, and operational oversight.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and project management tools.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage operations across diverse regions.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
