Outreach Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Outreach Worker to join our team. As an Outreach Worker, you will play a crucial role in connecting with the people experiencing homelessness in our community and providing valuable support and resources. Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify target populations and develop outreach strategies
- Recruit individuals for programs, services, or events through various channels
- Provide administrative support by maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Educate individuals about available resources, programs, and services
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding and mentoring team members
- Collect data on outreach efforts and analyze results for continuous improvement
- Engage in public speaking engagements to raise awareness and promote initiatives

Requirements:
- Proven experience in outreach or community engagement roles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in French & English
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques
- Comfortable with public speaking engagements
- Project management skills to effectively plan and execute outreach initiatives

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
