The Outside Services Supervisor will assist the Assistant/Associate Professional and Head Professional in the day-to-day operations of the facility during the golf season. The main focus of the Outside Services Supervisor will be the training and management of the Outside Services associates. The Outside Services Supervisor will also specialize in servicing the needs of customers, through the management of all departments that fall within the umbrella of, “Outside Services.”
Job Responsibilities: The Duties of the Outside Services Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
· Ensuring the cleanliness, and maintenance of the power cart fleet.
· Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the driving range deck, and all related facilities.
· Member/Guest services, including but not limited to: Greeting/Welcoming members and guests alike, club cleaning, assistance with carrying of golf bags, providing directions/information when requested.
· Assist in the setup and take-down of tournaments, including placement/retrieval of hole prizes, tournament tables, hole sponsor signs, etc.
· Scheduling of Outside Services Associates, to ensure adequate coverage of day-to-day operations.
· Training and management of Outside Services Associates – this will include the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all Outside Services staff
· Work closely with other staff members, in order to solve any problems that arise during the day-to-day operations of the club, and to help exceed the customer service expectations of our members and guests.
· Any other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Head Professional, Associate Professional or Assistant Professional
Position Requirements: We would request that any applicants have the following requirements:
· Be at least 18 years of age prior to your intended start date
· Possess an Alberta Class 5 GDL Driver’s License (or another provincial equivalent).
· 4+ years of experience in the workplace, preferably customer service. 2 or more years of which would preferably be spent as a Supervisor.
· Must maintain a high level of professionalism in the community, and a high level of visibility at all times when at the club.
· Must have a positive, enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude that will ensure the promotion and maintenance of the atmosphere at the club.
Hourly rate will be dependent on experience, this is a seasonal position, weather dependent.
