Responsibilities
- Operating industrial scale ovens in a bakery environment.
- Performing various duties such as pushing and pulling racks, reading work order to determine quantity and type of products to be baked, set operation speed, baking time, and temperature controls of baking unit.
- Presses buttons to start equipment, and observes gauges to maintain heat according to specifications.
- Maybe working on the line.
- Loading and unloading trays.
- Observe color of baking product to detect burning or over baking and to verify uniformity of finished products.
- Adjust controls according to procedure or notify supervisor when conditions require equipment adjustments.
Requirements
- Able to lift upto 50lbs
- Safety shoes
- Must have a negative COVID result
- Must be able to stand, bend and perform repetitive tasks for up to 12 hours
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a diverse team environment
- Flexible to work on weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $22.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay

- Oven Operator: 1 year (required)
