SalaryMount Carmel Home is currently looking for an overnight housekeeper/PSW on a part-time basis. Shifts are from 9:00pm to 6:00am.
The schedule rotates every 2 weeks:
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Duties include:
- washing resident bedding and towels
- cleaning public washrooms
- cleaning Chapel
- mopping and vacuuming common area floors, kitchen and dining room
- wiping and sanitizing counters
- responding to resident call bells as required
-routine night checks on residents, assisting with care
Cleaning experience preferred but not required. Candidates need to demonstrate a level of exceptional responsibility and confidence.
The incoming employee will be required to show proof of a recent Vulnerable Sector Check, or be able to obtain one upon employment.
Recent 2-step TB test required, or to be obtained upon hire.
