Oyster Farmer

• About the Role: We are looking for an individual to be part of team that ensures production and maintenance of our oysters is performed as needed on the water. Asset if you can drive a boat but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Bring oysters to the facility for production
• Put away oysters in cages at the appropriate location
• Perform routine maintenance on site
• Maintain a log book.

Skills:

• Must be organized and able to work as part of a team
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to communicate efficiently
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more

Candidate Requirements:

• Able to legally work in Canada
• Experience is an asset but not required, will provide training on site.
• The perfect candidate must be comfortable working outside in various weather condition.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Secondary School (preferred)

Language:

• english (preferred)
• French (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Bouctouche, NB (preferred)
