Oyster Shucker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oyster Shucker to join our team at our NEW location in Bala, Muskoka, ON. Our summer Shell Shack is called The Oyster Moon.

This is an eight week contract that includes accommodation, if required. We will operate 5 days a week from Canada Day to Labour Day.

This will be a small team and a positive vibe is required.

Responsibilities:
- Shuck oysters efficiently and safely, following proper techniques and guidelines - Order food product weekly
- Clean and prepare oysters for serving, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Oyster Shucker
- Knowledge of seafood preparation and handling techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for shucking oysters
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
