SUMMARY
The Packaging Worker plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient packaging and delivery of finished goods according to company and customer standards. This position involves meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to quality assurance. Packaging Worker is responsible for finished goods boxed, labeled, and palletized.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESVerify accuracy of products against processing tickets before packaging.
Package finished products, following specifications for boxing and label creation.
Assemble products when required, ensuring integrity and functionality.
Organize and stage finished products for efficient loading and transportation.
Safely store packaged parts in designated locations.
Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures and productivity targets.
Maintain accurate daily logs to track production and inventory.
Always uphold Health and Safety standards
Qualifications
Computer skills are essential for this role, including familiarity with basic software programs and the ability to navigate digital systems efficiently.Proficient in reading, writing, and mathematics.Demonstrated manual dexterity to operate machinery and hand tools effectively.Ability to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Working Conditions
Environment: Warehouse setting with moderate temperatures.Protective Equipment: Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.Conditions: Some exposure to dust and noise typical of warehouse environments
