Responsibilities:
- Follow workflow for new construction projects
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing drywall
- Mix and apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and furniture
- Follow specific instructions and specifications for each project
- Use hand tools and equipment to complete painting tasks
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on job sites
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Experience:
- No experience needed or necessary
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in painting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
Note: Experience with rigging or building construction is a plus.
