The Parent Support Worker will assist the Maternal Child Health Program by improving health outcomes for pregnant women and families with infants and young children, by focusing on culture, role-modeling and healthy teachings by linking community resources. About the position: Working 7.5 - hour shifts, some overtime may be required. Will provide in-home support, teaching individuals and groups on parenting topics. Advocate, refer and act as a liaison for families. Work closely with Health Care Professionals and working with the Public Health Nursing program to provide and deliver programs and services.
