Park and Facilities Summer Student

Anticipated Start and End Date: May 6, 2024 – September 2, 2024

Hours: 35 hours per week

Hourly Wage: $17.55 to $19.05 per hour ($16.60 to $18.10 per hour *Under 18 rates*)

About the Role:

Summer crews assist in the maintenance of Parks, Beaches, Gardens and Facilities throughout the Town of Saugeen Shores.

Summary of Available Positions:

• Waterfront Crew
• Sports Field Crew
• Parks Garbage Crew
• Washroom Crew
• Grass Crew
• Gardening Crew
• Facility Maintenance Crew
• Tourist Camp Attendants
• Harbour Attendants

Qualifications:

• Valid G2 or G Driver’s License
• Must be enrolled in a diploma, degree, post-grad certificate or trade program
• Valid Standard First Aid certification, or willing to obtain prior to start date is preferred
• Comfortable with self-direction as well as working in a team environment
• Successful applicants are required to provide their own CSA approved footwear.
