We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our Parking team, located at Purdy's Wharf in downtown Halifax.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday. Additional hours are occasionally required as operations dictate, and can fall on weekends/evenings/holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be responsible for completing general cleaning, maintenance, and customer service duties in our multi-level parkade at Prudy's Wharf. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Changing garbage's
- Picking up litter
- Sweeping & Mopping
- Wiping down touch points
- Dusting
- Cleaning all parking equipment and signage
- Inspecting the parking area to verify that equipment and lighting function properly, that cars circulate without problems, that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot
- Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation
- Providing assistance in person and remotely to customers in the use of the automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Employment is conditional on successfully passing a criminal record check.
