Part Time Family Preservation Worker - Family Resource Network

McMan is looking for a Part-Time (30 hours per week) Family Preservation Worker for the Family Resource Network in Lethbridge.

Here’s how you will contribute as a Family Preservation Worker within the Family Resource Network:

• Provide case management and service delivery to youth and families on an individual and group basis.
• Work as a liaison between families and service providers.
• Work from a strength-based and harm reduction lens. Provide case management services that are person-centered, based in Family Preservation philosophies, and respect the diverse needs of the service participants.
• Plan and supervise small groups for youth and families.

Here’s what you’ll need to get an interview:

• Degree/Diploma in Human Services, with related experience in the Human Services field and a member of good standing with the relevant professional association, if applicable. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
• Previous experience in youth care or family support field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of existing community resources & experience in building relationships with those resources.
• Current Standard First Aid CPR Level C Certificate or CSA Standard Z1210-17 Intermediate First Aid Certificate.
• Clear Child Intervention Record Check, dated within the past six months.
• Clear Police Information Check with vulnerable sector, dated within past six months.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, and use of reliable vehicle with $2M Third Party Liability insurance.
