Queen® Genetics supplies B2B Horticultural customers in Canada and the US with an innovative and ever-developing assortment of high-quality plant material. We use customized solutions, efficient customs clearance and reliable logistics to serve each of our customers with their individual needs. As a fully integrated business, we are in complete control of our supply chain and able to provide our customers with a strong value proposition.
We are looking for a PART TIME STUDENT EMPLOYEE to join primarily our logistics department at our office in St. Catharines. The tasks will range from helping with administrative tasks to logistics- and import handling at several ports of entry, and physical order handling in a flexible, friendly, and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, coordinate, monitor and track our international shipments arriving into North America over the weekends
- Receive and handle orders coming into our warehouse over the weekends
- Help create orders, and invoices, data entry and follow-up on order planning
- Help coordinate onwards logistics with our service-providers, business partners, and suppliers
- Other tasks
Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
- Must be proactive, self-disciplined, and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity
- Must have a high degree of interpersonal skills which would enable the candidate to deal successfully with our business partners
- Familiar with excel, outlook and ERP systems
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work afternoons on either Thursdays and/or Fridays and on weekends
