Atlantic Canada’s Fastest Growing Auto Group has an immediate opening for a Professional Vehicle Detailer. ReCar is an Atlantic Canadian company that is headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick and is built on the fundamental principles of integrity and treating people with respect. We are also a disruptor within the Auto Industry by offering our Guests Fixed, No-Pressure Pricing on all our Certified Vehicles, as well as an environment where our Vehicle Advisors are Non-Commissioned Positions as opposed to straight commission like most automotive salespeople.
Founded in 2018, ReCar currently has locations in Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, Woodstock and Halifax in March 2024, with an aggressive growth plan to add new locations. ReCar is a division of Shift Auto Group.
This position, which is available at the beginning of March at our ReCar Moncton/Saint John/Woodstock/Fredericton locations, consists of all the cleaning and detailing of our pre-owned vehicles.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Washing and cleaning both the interior and exterior of all vehicles;
- Professional detailing of our pre-owned vehicles to our industry leading standards;
- Application of vehicle protection packages, including Paint Protection, Fabric & Leather Protection;
- Vehicle buffing, wet-sanding and waxing;
- Various other tasks related to the cleaning and detailing of vehicles as well as assisting other activities as needed.
The ideal candidate for this position will:
- Have at least 1 year of experience as an automotive detailer (Preferred)
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be a hard worker
- Be honest and ethical
- Be willing to learn
- Be willing to work as part of a team to accomplish all required tasks
This is a Part-Time role which can lead to more hours throughout the summer months.
The hours required of this position are as follows: Monday to Thursday 5PM-8PM and Saturday 9AM-4PM.
