Part Time Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
This position trains and supervises Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and various job-related tasks. He/She holds teams accountable for attendance and submits timecards.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands and consistently demonstrates UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Shifts may start or end hours earlier depending on business needs
• Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience or supervisory experience - Preferred
• Must have own transportation. Public transportation is not available to this location.

Part Time AM Morning Shift:

• Monday to Friday (5 days a week - No Weekends!)
• Shift start time between 01:00am - 03:00am (approx.)
• Shift finish time between 08:00am - 9:00am (approx.) depending on package volume.
• Flexibility needed with start and finish times. Shifts can extend longer during high package volume during peak holiday season.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
