Job Summary
The Parts Clerks reporting to the Parts Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the
Dealership’s customers, technicians and retail/wholesale customers with parts requirements. The Parts Clerk is professional and cordial. At time the Parts Clerk may assist with Parts Deliveries.

What you offer
General Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
1. Answer telephone enquiries and service customers efficiently and professionally
2. Process all parts inventory information and controls into applicable software
3. Work with parts team to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
4. Purify files on a regular basis
5. File all Manufacturer’s reference paper work; i.e. packing slips, bills of lading, etc.
6. Verify all Manufacturer's packing slips to invoices
7. Verify all purchase orders against invoices
8. Stamp all invoice packaging slips daily
9. Maintain and revise inventory computer system as required
10. Attend department meetings as required
11. Assist in verifying, transcribing and coding all repair orders for accuracy and legibility
12. Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment
13. Control daily parts ordered for service department
14. Verify security and lock up at day's end as required
17. Retail/Wholesale Customers:
a. Handle all telephone parts orders for pick-up and delivery b. Obtain a deposit (or full payment on non-returnable items) on all retail orders c. Obtain customer signature for all charge accounts d. Receipt cash customer invoices and place cash in cash drawer e. Pick invoices and place in appropriate bins all wholesale telephone orders f. Envelope cash at day's end when required and deposit in Manager's office g. Follow Dealership's policies and procedures in conjunction with inventory control systems h. Price body shop parts, estimate and order necessary parts
18. Technician Parts Sales:
a. Ensure all parts are invoiced to appropriate service, new vehicle and used vehicle repair orders b. Ensure all special-order tie-up parts are accurately entered on appropriate parts slips c. Serve customers in a courteous, helpful and professional manner d. Assist in working with service department to expedite handling of price quotes and sales for pre-picking e. Assist in issuing and charging all parts against appropriate work orders/requisitions for accurate inventory control
The successful candidate will have the following:
Education and Qualification
- Completion of Secondary School
- 1-2 years previous Retail & Customer Service experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Clean driving record, and reporting to management any circumstances regarding the status of this license
Language
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Bilingualism, an asset

Schedule:
Monday – Friday:
7:00 am – 3:00 pm and 11:00 am – 7:00 pm – (Rotational Schedule)
Rotational Saturdays – 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Pay Structure:
$18.00 per hour
Plus Monthly Bonus
(Estimated Annual Income - $45,000 - $53,000)
