Avonlea is a short line farm equipment dealer with locations in Domain, MB and Deloraine, MB. The primary focus of Avonlea has been grain storage and conditioning, grain handling, grain carts, and fall tillage equipment which require set up and installation.
We are seeking an individual that has good people skills, managing skills and works well with others. The job includes but is not limited to managing parts sales/ordering/inventory, managing service department/shop/warranty claims & coordinating shipping/receiving.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing parts/service/shipping departments and assisting these departments when needed.
- Processing warranty claims on all products, coordinating all repairs with shop foreman and making sure that the correct parts are ordered to complete these repairs.
- Assisting with unloading/loading shipments when needed.
- Relaying information back to operations manager when requested.
Qualifications for this position are:
- Must have experience in parts/service department
- Strong math and numeric skills
- Good computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- A valid class 5 drivers license, class 1 or 3 beneficial.
- Familiarity with farm equipment and related practices
- Forklift certification "Will provide training if necessary"
- Flexible work hours in busy times of the year
