Kerr’s Chain Saw LTD is currently seeking interested candidate in joining our team. If you are someone who has strong interpersonal skills and are you passionate about ATV, Motorcycles we are looking for you.
The successful candidate should be personable, accept responsibility, bondable and eager to learn. They must show initiative, be able to work under limited supervision and have strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Sell merchandise to customers, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Manage and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Provide technical support on product selection and application.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and supplies
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Utilize supply chain management systems to track inventory levels and order parts as needed
- Operate forklift to move and organize parts within the warehouse
- Assist technicians in identifying and procuring the correct parts for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including data entry into computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Maintain and create merchandise displays.
- Constantly work towards a more efficient department.
- Provide customer feedback to management in a timely fashion.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a powersport dealership or automotive environment preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of powersport vehicles and outdoor power equipment.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficient in data entry and working with computerized systems
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Skills:
- Ability to procure parts from various sources, including ordering from suppliers.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, technicians, and other team members
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
